To acquire a void

Haruki Murakami wrote in the "What I talk about when I talk about running", he ran in order to acquire a void. I totally agree with that.
I came to realize I didn't need any music when running, as for now. As the only thing I thought was the condition of my muscles, knees, breathing and the roads that existed several meters ahead of me.
I forgot all about complicated things related to my job -actually it didn't really matter for my life and might be even that it didn't relate to the job in a essential way, but as you know, sometimes tiny trivial things bother us a lot.
The void exists not outside of me, but inside of me -when we learn the way how to reach it.
